Is Black the New White ?

A growing trend seems to suggest that a Black Bridal Car is becoming a more popular choice with bride’s and groom’s as it shows off a beautifully contrast against the bride’s dress. This is a comment passed onto us by many wedding photographers who suggest that Black is a better choice. All the focus and attention then falls onto the beautiful bride on her wedding day. Having taken all the suggestions and requests from our clients on board, we are now delighted to offer a choice of Black and White Rolls Royce vehicles.

Black Cars Matter 😜

It’s a question we don’t think to ask but now that it has been raised on the agenda, it does make one scratch their head, thinking why White has become a default colour for a traditional wedding.

Firstly we start with why certain colours are used symbolically in weddings, for instance the colour White for brides dresses represents purity, symbolizing both a woman’s chastity.

However in many Asian cultures wedding dresses are traditionally Red, and Maroon. In India, a Red wedding dress is often seen as a sign of fertility and prosperity.

With briefly touched topics on colour choices for weddings above we can only naturally assume the colour White had become a default colour for wedding to show represent a sign of purity!

We have been getting a lot of feedback from our valued clients who have requested Black as their main car as there has been a clear shift in colour choices, and a Black Bridal Car is trending to being the old White!
